Duane Wolter, Senior Director at ELEVEN Consulting Group, is an accomplished executive who balances strategic and tactical objectives on some of the most complex assignments across various industries. Duane’s experience working as a Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer makes him uniquely qualified to advise clients on various business challenges.
Prior to ELEVEN, Duane held roles in finance, accounting, and operations, serving companies in North America and Europe across industries including retail, distribution, healthcare, technology, manufacturing, and construction. Duane’s career includes time spent with organizations of all sizes, small to large cap, with highlights including roles at Home Depot, Ames Department Stores, May Department Stores, and countless leadership roles within private equity portfolios.
Beyond time spent in industry, Duane served as a business operations and accounting consultant under several banners, including Advanced Financial Solutions, Sunera, and Focal Point Data Risk supporting clients in both the public and private sectors. He has led engagements in corporate restructuring, equity financing, ERP implementations, interim CFO services, valuations, turnarounds, and divestitures. In addition, Duane has supported acquisitions from identification of a target, negotiations, deal closing, and successful completion of post-acquisition support and integration.
Duane holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marquette University, passed the CPA exam in Wisconsin and Louisiana, and lives in Nashville, TN.
Engaged by $240M private equity owned manufacturer of utility infrastructure solutions to support purchase price negotiations, lead acquisition integration team, and serve as interim CFO and CAO. Provided these same services on four subsequent bolt-on acquisitions totaling over $300M spanning a 3-year period. Prepared each opening balance sheet and required valuations under ASC 805/820. Upon exit, led the team on behalf of private equity firm, to complete the sale of the Company to a multi-national conglomerate.
