Stefne McGinnis is Founder & Managing Principal of ELEVEN Consulting Group, leading a broad team of seasoned accounting and finance professionals across the US. Stefne is responsible for establishing the vision and curating the strategic direction of the firm. She oversees day to day operations, manages the national resource and client network, and serves directly in client facing roles.
Prior to launching ELEVEN, Stefne was with Focal Point Data Risk as Principal of the Financial Advisory Services practice providing leadership to a robust roster of experienced accounting professionals and tactical project execution to some of the firm’s largest clients. Her career includes industry experience at Avantair, a private aviation business, in addition to time at Ernst & Young and BDO Seidman, holding positions in audit, technology, risk, and advisory. She has served in interim executive roles as Chief Financial Officer, Controller, VP of Finance, and VP of Financial Planning & Analysis. Stefne has worked with both public and private companies with significant exposure to private equity sponsors and portfolio companies throughout the deal lifecycle. Her industry experience includes aviation, media, services, healthcare, biopharmaceutical, SaaS, Fintech, manufacturing, restaurant, ecommerce, and retail.
Stefne has led accounting and finance engagements with a focus on corporate and growth strategy, performance improvement, cost reduction, diligence, M&A, transaction support, and post-acquisition accounting support and integration. She specializes in managing teams of all sizes during organizational transformation efforts or transaction related events while staying focused on driving increased visibility using key accounting and finance metrics.
Stefne holds a Bachelor of Arts as well as a Master of Science in Accounting from Michigan State University and lives in Tampa, FL.
Engaged by $240M private equity owned manufacturer of utility infrastructure solutions to support purchase price negotiations, lead acquisition integration team, and serve as interim CFO and CAO. Provided these same services on four subsequent bolt-on acquisitions totaling over $300M spanning a 3-year period. Prepared each opening balance sheet and required valuations under ASC 805/820. Upon exit, led the team on behalf of private equity firm, to complete the sale of the Company to a multi-national conglomerate.
